Project Overview

12-Signature is a digital tool that allows users to create, customize, and manage professional email signature templates. It enables individuals and businesses to design visually consistent signatures that can be easily used across emails, improving brand identity and communication.

The Challenge

Many users either use plain text signatures or struggle with manually designing HTML signatures that are often inconsistent and difficult to manage. Businesses also face challenges in maintaining uniform branding across teams. The goal of 12-Signature was to build a simple yet powerful platform that allows users to create professional signatures without technical knowledge.

Understanding the Foundation of 12Signature

01
Problem & Goals
Many users either use plain text signatures or struggle with manually designing HTML signatures that are often inconsistent and difficult to manage. Businesses also face challenges in maintaining uniform branding across teams. The goal of 12-Signature was to build a simple yet powerful platform that allows users to create professional signatures without technical knowledge. The system needed to provide flexibility in customization while ensuring ease of use, scalability, and brand consistency.
02
User Research & Insights
Research showed that users prefer ready-made templates that they can quickly customize rather than building designs from scratch. Many users lack technical skills for creating responsive and compatible email signatures, leading to broken layouts across different email clients. Insights highlighted the need for a guided experience with live previews, simple editing controls, and reliable export options. Users also value speed and convenience, expecting to create and implement signatures within minutes.
03
Strategy & Information Architecture
The platform was structured to provide a smooth creation flow, allowing users to either select a template or build their own signature step-by-step. The information architecture focused on organizing templates, customization tools, and preview/export options into a simple and logical flow. Navigation was designed to guide users from template selection to customization and final export without confusion. The system was also built to support scalability, enabling the addition of more templates and advanced customization features over time.

The Solution

A Simple Yet Powerful Signature Creation System

12-Signature was developed as a web-based platform with a structured system that supports both user creation flows and template management.

Template & Management Module Control & Scalability

The backend system manages templates, user data, and customization settings. It allows administrators to create, update, and manage signature templates while ensuring consistency and performance across the platform.

Built for teams of all sizes, the management module provides granular control over user permissions and document access, ensuring that sensitive information remains secure while allowing for rapid scaling.

Signature Creation & Customization

The website acts as the main interface where users can explore pre-designed templates or create their own signatures. It allows users to input their details, customize layouts, adjust styles, and preview their signature in real time.

Whether it's a simple script or a complex graphic, 12-Signature ensures that every signature is clear, consistent, and professional, providing peace of mind for both individuals and businesses.
