Understanding the Foundation of 12Commerce
The vision behind 12Commerce began with identifying a major gap in the e-commerce landscape. Many platforms offer powerful features, but they often overwhelm users with complex dashboards, confusing setup processes, and rigid templates that limit growth. Through user interviews and competitive analysis, we found that merchants wanted a clean, guided onboarding experience, built-in analytics, and flexible store customization — all without needing a developer.
We designed a modular architecture that separates storefront, dashboard, and payment systems — allowing merchants to customize each layer independently while maintaining a cohesive experience.
